supporting the arts
Alpha Music & Records is a new venture that was born out of the 2020 lockdown.
Alpha could see that things were extremely challenging for the creative industries – and in particular many of the performers and artists that have an ongoing relationship with the company through the Alpha Club. An idea sparked around setting up a label to act as an outlet for the huge amount of talent already in the Alpha family – and to look at other projects as well.
Our debut album release is a charity Christmas album to help raise funds for the John Conteh Foundation.
It utilises the considerable talents of Alpha’s promotional team on seven festive favourites and was broadcast exclusively to ‘La Dolce Vita’ card members.)
One of our guiding principles at Alpha Music & Records will be that our artists are centre stage. It’s not about the egos of executives or a bloated structure – it’s simply about what serves the artists and the songs.
Up and coming releases include ‘Chasing Rainbows, Finding Judy’ by Lauren Samuels and Sophie Evans – watch this space for more news!
